Is It Ok To Take ORS-Lemon With Diof Syrup For Loose Motions For A 20 Months Child
My child is 20 months old, he has faced 2 times loose motion from today evening, local doctor has prescribed ORS-LEMON along with DIOF syrup (OFLOXACIN & METRONIDAZOLE SUSPENSION) AND VIZYLAC dry syrup ( LACTIC ACID BACILLUS POWDER), is these are ok or not I want to know? If it is ok then what will be the dosage?

i dont think he will need the antibiotics DIOF as most diarrhoeas in children are viral,if he has blood or mucus in stools u can give the antibiotic.vizylac u can take 1/2 sachet or 2.5 ml twice a day.ors for each loose stool 50-100 ml if he is taking orally well
