Is It Ok To Take Pepto Bismol And Promethazine Together For Food Poisoning ?
Hello, I have had food poisoning since tuesday and I have been taking pepto bismol, but it hasnt been working. I then remembered that I have this prescription drug called Promethazine that was used to treat my nausea a month or 2 ago. Do you know if it is ok to take Pepto Bismol and Promethazine together?

I really appreciate your concern, if it is just symptoms of diarrhea and nausea then no need to take any medicine, you have not mentioned the symptoms, because it may not be the food poison but could be just condition of dyspepsia, even if it is the food poison then also it just need to be take care for dehydration only the severe condition need hospitalization else the mild case may not need any treatment. hope this information helps.
