Is It Okay To Take Valium And Zubsolv Together?

Is it okay to take valium and zubsolv together? I read on-line that they are both often prescribed together because zubsolv adds to anxiety! I just wish to show my doctor proof of this since I am currently prescribed a low dosage of valium and was prescribed zubsolv by another doctor, and took both for a while and had no bad side effects. Zubsolv makes me speedy and sometimes anxious and the valium helped when I was really shaken up!

Zubsolv (buprenorphine and naloxone) Sublingual Tablets is a partial opioid agonist used along with counseling and psychosocial support for maintenance treatment of opioid dependence. Valium (diazepam) is indicated for the management of anxiety disorders or for the short-term relief of the symptoms of anxiety. The effectiveness of Valium in long-term use, that is, more than 4 months, has not been assessed by systematic clinical studies. The physician should periodically reassess the usefulness of the drug for the individual patient. Simutanous use of these two drugs is not considered safe. Preclinical studies have shown that the combination of benzodiazepines and buprenorphine altered the usual ceiling effect on buprenorphine-induced respiratory depression, making the respiratory effects of buprenorphine appear similar to those of full opioid agonists. I suggest u to consult a good physician and then take only under strict medical supervision. All the best
