Is It Possible For Blood To Accumulate In The Cervix From Bleeding In The Bladder?

Is it possible for blood to accumulate in the cervix from bleeding in the bladder? 5 weeks ago I had vaginal bleeding, Doctor said I was full of blood and had large clots. He did a biopsy and vaginal scan which was both negative. Now there is blood in my urine, ct scan shows several minor kidney stones.

OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,

Please try to understand that genital tract and urinary tract are two different tracts, although they exist in close vicinity.

Uterine and cervical bleeding does not have direct communication with urinary bladder and urine outlet in a normal situation.

As per your reports blood passed from urine can be attributed to urinary tract stones.

Please seek support from both the experts separately.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purushottam Neurgaonkar,
