Is It Possible That Constant Stuffy Nose Is Because Of Medication Like Xanax Or Klonopin?

For the past 6 weeks or so I have noticed that after eating or drinking some of the time (not every time) I will have a stuffy nose afterwards with clear mucus which requires me to blow my nose. While I am eating or drinking I have no trouble or difficulty swallowing and no regurgitation of food or liquids. Some mornings, I also wake up with this stuffy nose and clear mucus.
I do have a new dog, but have not had sneezing or other obvious allergy to it. I do have GERD, but have had that for several years now.
Should I be worried about the stuffiness/mucus? I am on medication for anxiety, klonopin and Xanax.

I have gone through your query;it suggests that constant stuffy nose may be due to the Xanax.

For your kind information side effects of xanax are

Weakness, slurred speech, loss of muscular co-ordination
Nausea, diarrhea, constipation
Excessive sweating, stuffy nose, and dry mouth
