Is It Possible That The Acupuncture Needles Damaged His Nerves Around The Lower Back ? Please Advise

My friend recently received an acupuncture procedure on his lower back. Ever since, he has been experiencing pains and numb feelings around the same area for nearly two months. Is it possible that the acupuncture needles damaged his nerves around the lower back ? Please advise ASAP. Thank you for your time and help.

Hi well come to HCM.
Its difficult to say any thing, Because your friend already had some problem in
that area, thats why he went for acupuncture. It may be that acupuncture has
not resolved the problem, and the problem is progressing. Thanks
