General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and welcome to healthcare forum.
From your history it seems that you are suffering from thrombophlebitis of upper limb.
To know weather it involves only superficial veins or deep vein also, go for colour doppler examination of the affected limb and after that visit a surgeon for further management.
Best wishes for your health.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic
You could be having thrombophlebitis which is infection and inflammation of the vein which was used for IV line. You could have damaged nerves in that region which may also account for the pain other than the inflammed vein. You will need to get it looked at and infection treated. Consult your Doctor immediately to prevent complications.
