Is It Possible The Clogged Nostril Could Be From Swelling?
I recently received blunt trauma to my nose. I have a bruised eye, and it is hard to breathe out of one nostril. It does not hurt when I touch it, but it is swollen. Is it possible the clogged nostril is from swelling. I received this injury three days ago.

Hello, Welcome to HCM, The symptoms are suggesting of blunt trauma to the nose, which as led to edema of the nose and bruise of the eyes. The swelling of the nose is may be due to internal bleeding are soft tissue injury. This is leading to obstruction of the nostril. If there is a deviation of nasal septum following the injury it should be examined by your ENT surgeon and proper treatment should be given. The swelling will come down in some time, you can apply hot pack on the swelling and medicines like NASIDs and Serratiopeptidase to reduce the pain and swelling. Thank You.
