Is It Possible To Conceive Due To Irregular Intake Of Birth Control Pills?
I m a Saturday start for my Orthesia birth control pills, I missed the pharmacy and had to start Sunday.. which I doubled up my first dose (2 on Sunday) I ve been on the pill for a yr and a half and never miss any pills. I ve had sex the past couple days, is there a chance I could get pregnant due to the delay of the start of the pack?
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
Birth control pills are 99 percent effective with “perfect use,” which means taking the pill at the same time every day without missing a dose. If you accidentally miss a dose or forget to start a new pack of pills the chances for an accidental pregnancy go up. You should follow up with a pregnancy test.
Hope my answer was helpful.
If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.
Kind regards!
