Is It Possible To Contract Chlamydia Infection Post Complete Hysterectomy?
Hello I had surgery for clamadia/cervical cancer 2 years ago.....so when I had complete hysterectomy did that get rid of this issue or do I keep worrying about having a relationship with someone.....I got this from my ex husband....was very embarrassing and I want to meet someone else but afraid to
Yes, you may suffer from chlamydia infection after total hysterectomy because of unhygienic relations. Uterus is removed in hysterectomy but you still have lower parts, which may be infected with chlamydia. But no need to worry because chlamydia is easy to treat with medicines even with single dose medicine. But you should maintain good hygiene to prevent that because prevention is always better than cure.
