Podiatrist 's  Response
There are a number of implantable birth control devices now available to women, the main difference being the length of time and location of implantation (ranges from 3-10 years). There is a small risk of pregnancy, however with intrauterine devices this would be a surgical emergency that could end the mother's life if it occurred.

Hi, It can be an IUCD (intrauterine contraceptive device),can be of copper or progesterone(hormone) that is inserted in Uterus to prevent pregnancy.
If birth control pill taken on time and with doctor"s advice there are very less chances of getting pregnancy.
