Is It Possible To Get Pregnant Without Ejaculation?
Hello doctor. I am wondering if is it possible to get pregnant from precum. I m 18 years old and I have not really had sex before but the 28th March me and my boyfriend tried to made love for the first time. I have never had any type of sexual intercourse except for that time. We tried but it we couldn t make it. His penis wouldn t fit well inside me, maybe just the head could fit. We used the condom but we removed it because we thought maybe without it, it would have fit, but it still didn t and it hurted so we stopped.I didn t bleed or anything so my hymen might still be intact.He didn t ejaculate while we were trying but he said he might have precummed .I have a irregular period so I don t know if I was in my ovulation days. The 15th April I got a very watery mucus which I guess it might be my ovulation. But today it s the 28 th April and I m still not getting my period, I feel pain(cramps) in the lower abdomen and tender breast. Normally I would feel cramps 2 days before my period and then it comes, but I have almost 6 days with cramps and no blood at all! I have always been irregular but I m starting to get worried, that s why I m asking this. I would appreciate your help. Thanks

Of course, pre-cum fluid contains no sperm, as it is produced by Cowper's glands, where as sperms are produced in testes. These two are produced by two separate organs of body. Hence, pre-cum, itself is not able to result in pregnancy, as it is not having any sperm.
Still, there is no non-zero possibility, in this. The chances of pregnancy may be there, as both the ducts carrying pre-cum fluid and semen enter the same route, that is urethra. Hence some chances of mixing the semen with pre-cum may be there in urethra resulting in pregnancy. As you are having irregular periods, hence, a home pregnancy test is the only way to rule out the pregnancy.
