Is It Possible To Have Allergy From CT Scan Dye?
Please could you tell me if a Ct scan injected dye could cause an allergic reaction that could last for two weeks after having it. The intense itching is all over my body. Using Dermacool Aqueous cream with 1.% menthol to no avail. Have suffered severe eczema in the past. Thank you

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the hypersensitivity reaction because of radio-active dye then this may not last long because this could be controlled well and one can get well soon, if this is what long lasting symptoms then this can be skin disease and may not be hypersensitivity reaction, try some antihistamine and best would be "Tab Hydroxyzine 10 mg three times in day" hope this information helps, take care.
