Is It Possible To Have Safe Pregnancy In A CLL Or CML ?

is it true that maternal cells routinely travel across the placenta and establish themselves in the fetus is there a possibility that the leukemia cells could take hold in the fetus’s blood if the pregnant woman has CLL or CML.... and if a woman has a CLL or CML before getting pregnant and wanted to get pregnant and she is not treated will it have an effect on the fetus...AND IF THE WOMAN WANTS TO GET PREGNANT but she has CLL and not treated will it coz some effect on the fetus...and is it true that CLL can have no treatment for life how about CML?is it the same?how about WOMAN WITH CML THAT WANTS TO GET PREGNANT is itpossible to have no treatment while pregnant and the same as cll?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Cells do not cross the maternal fetal barrier. Your child in the womb will not inherit leukemia from you. Maintain a positive attitude and look forward to have a very healthy baby.
You should of course consult your oncologist regularly and follow his advise along with your regular antenatal checkups.
Wish you and your baby all the best.
