Is It Risky If My Scan Shows Subchorionic Bleed, and Would It Turn Out To Be Normal?

Hi, I'm 7 weeks pregnant for my second baby. My first baby was normal delivery . In 7weeks scan everything is normal but found to have a subchrionin bleed measuring 1.4 cms posterior of the sac. I had miscarriage last year. I'm going to office (10 mins travel and work involves sitting) and not at complete rest or bed rest. Dr advises susten 200 daily. Please let me know if it is risky and it wud turn out to be normal. I haven't had any spotting or bleeding till now.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Subchorionic hemorrhage can be seen in few pregnancies.
Usually most of the times it will get resolved.
Rarely that can lead to miscarriage.
As you are having previous history of miscarriage, better to be careful.
Better to take rest as per as possible.
If working is a must, better to avoid strenuous work.
Take rest in between work, try to sleep for one to two hours in the afternoon.
Avoid bump roads while traveling.
You can use susten as suggested by your doctor.
It helps in maitainance of pregnancy and in preventing the miscarriage to some extent.
Repeat ultrasound after one to two weeks to observe the condition of the hematoma.
Take care.
