Is It Safe For A Person With Antithrombin III Deficiency To Take Birth Control Pills ?
Hi, I have antithrombin III deficiency and I am looking for a suitable form of birth control (I am not have have estrogen in any form). Additionally, I have not been using birth control in my relationship so far, if I was to find out I was pregnant , what would the options be in my case?
Dear ,please avoid conventional tablets which contains both the hormones. You can either use barrier methods which are safe,or discuss with your doctor and go for intrauterine device or implantable devices which are safe and contains only progesterone. Please use at least barrier method like condom till then to avoid pregnancy.bye.
