Is It Safe For To Take Yamini Pills For 3 Months??
hi , i m 27 and unmarried. I have PCOS from the last 3 n half years. I have hormonal imbalance (LH factor 23.45, leutal phase). Doctor advised me to take yamini pills for 3 months. Is it safe for an unmarried women to take hormones for that long time??
Hello, Good day. Luteal phase LH will be elevated. The ideal time to do LH is in the follicular phase ( best on 2nd or 3rd day) of the periods. Please don't start YAMIN just on seeing an LH value in luteal phase. In fact there is no need to do an LH. Please get thyroidblood test and prolactin. If you have excess hair growth over body and face etc, you may also need to do a testosterone test on the third day of period on empty stomach. Yamini is okay and it may cause weight gain in few people. Most people tolerate it well. Regards Binu
