Is It Safe To Change Thyroid Medicine Synthyroid To Levothyroxine?

Hi, my name is Brenda and I have thyroid problems, I am presently taking synthroid 100mcg and I was given a generic brand Levothyroxine. I was wondering, is it ok to take the generic brand even though I have been taking synthroid for a few years... please let me know. Thank you.

Dear Ma'm, Hi! it is perfectly fine to take whatever brand of levothyroxine as long as the drug is ISO certified and not expired and not exposed. Regards!
