Is It Safe To Conceive While Taking Allegra?
I am 40 years old, height 5-02 and 124lbs. I plan to become pregnant. Last period 07/08/2011 I just finished my period. I have a skin allergy from the sun and I took Allegra and used Clobetasol Propionate foam and cream 0.05% and I am still taking it. IS IT SAFE TO TRY FOR A BABY this month after this treatment or SHOULD I WAIT untill next period?

Allegra is a category C drug under FDA during pregnancy. The harmful effects of this drug on the unborn fetus are not known. Hence, if you wish to conceive, please inform the doctor about your drug history and also take precautions to switch to alternate means of medication safe in pregnancy if possible or postpone your plans for sometime until you do not need the medication.
