Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I have read your description and understand your concern.
From your description it appears that your menstrual cycles are irregular and it could be due to the presence of ovarian cyst (s).
Hence you have been prescribed with the medications namely, Duphaston and Glucophage.
Duphaston contains 'dydrogesterone', which is a synthetic progesterone, and is used to treat several conditions that are the result of a lack of progesterone including menstrual disorders.
Glucophage contains 'metformin', which is an oral hypoglycemic medicine that helps control blood sugar levels. But it is also known to have effect on regularizing ovulation process.
Kindly take the medications as advised, as this would help you to attain regular menstrual pattern and timely ovulation process, which would improve to the chances of conceiving.
Kindly do the necessary follow-up with your doctor as suggested.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
