Hello My daughter who is 4yrs old went for skating yesterday & got so called sh oe bytewith her new shoe skates. It is quite painful so what shall we do as she was going to the school in the morning I applied bandaid Shall i continue with skates Any medication required
Hi, It is not a good idea to allow her to skate with an open wound on her toes. It increases the chances of trauma and putting any pressure on the toe can result in delayed wound healing. Moreover, the chances of infection over bare skin is high and hence let her be off from skating shoes till she recovers completely. whether she requires an antibiotic or not will have to be decided by your doctor after examination of the wound. All the best.
