Is It Safe To Continue With Budecort Respirator And Montelucas For Pneumonia In Children?

HI my child had pnemonea when she was 3 months old now she is 7 & half.The doctor is still giving budecort respirator twice a day & montelucas medicine once a day. He told it to continue it till she is one year old. Is it safe for the child to continue with medicines for a period of 9 months. At present she is not having any problem like cough or cold. what should i do
