Is It Safe To Cut An Antibiotic Tablet Into Half And Take It?

Hey I got a simple question, i take antibiotics every 6 hours for a week, and I don t like taking pills, especially big ones, so I cut the pill in half and take both of the cut halfs right away with water. Does it give the same effect as the full pill? But not getting swollowed as one.

Yes, you can cut the tablet into two halves and can swallow each one by one. There is no harm doing this. It will make easy to swallow. It will have same effect as full tablet. Drink both halves of tablet with a full glass of water one by one.
You have not written the reason of using antibiotic. I could have suggested more if you would have written more about your problem.
