Is It Safe To Decrease The Dosage Of Concor From 10mg To 5mg?

I have been taking Concor 10 mg since the past October. Since my blood pressure has been normal for quite some time now and I feel it hasn t really contributed to improve my tachycardia, about a month ago or so, I lowered the dose to 5 mg. About a week or so I have been feeling dizzy all the time and now I wonder if maybe it s due to withdrawal. Recently I was diagnosed with fatty liver disease, so I wonder if that could also be the reason for the dizziness. What is the most probable cause for the dizziness?

If dose of the hypertension medicine is high, it may cause dizziness. Even high blood pressure may cause dizziness as the low blood pressure causes. So there are many reasons. Cirrhosis of liver causes altered mental status due to ammonia and nitrogenous bye products of metabolism accumulation and its effects on brain. But only fatty liver itself not usually cause dizziness.

Consult a Gynaecologist for liver issues and a Cardiologist for your cardiac and blood pressure issues. Tachycardia sometimes is due to underlying cardiac disease.
