Is It Safe To Decrease The Dosage Of Pyridoxine For Spine TB?
kindly wanted to know a small issue which is bending...I have spine tb and I have been taking drugs for the last 3months..so I use to add with 2pcs of pyridoxine tablet @night...and as from tonight I have started taking 1pcs with it ...is there any effect on it because my doct said its ok.? your assistance is highly appreciated
Taking pyridoxine one tablet in place of two should not matter much. You can continue to do so, but take other medications as prescribed for tuberculosis.
However, you can take foods rich in Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine). The richest sources of vitamin B6 include fish, liver and other organ meats, fortified cereals, potatoes and other starchy vegetables, and non-citizen fruits. Kindly do the follow-up as advised by your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
