Hi.
I can understand your concerns.

It is not advisable to drink water immediately after eating fruits including bananas.

Fruits (including bananas) contain a large amount of fructose (sugar) and yeast and drinking water immediately after having fruits results in the dilution of stomach acids which disrupts the process of digestion and absorption of essential nutrients which may not be absorbed and thus excreted through the feces.

So, one should avoid or or refrain from having water immediately after eating fruits. However one can drink the water 15-20 minutes after eating bananas.

Hope I have answered your query.
