Is It Safe To Extract Wisdom Tooth After Severe Concussion?
My daughter has had a severe concussion for the last 9 months and we just found out she will need her wisdom teeth taken out. She s only 15 but two of them are already up through her gums and the other two are almost out. Is it safe to go through with the procedure and are there any risks besides the normal ones?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, it is not the routine procedure and not advisable to remove the wisdom teeth unless it is indicated for that, when it causes some symptoms and even cause the adjoin teeth to tilt or pain then and then it needs to be extracted, and for that it is better to see the dentist, for final opinion hope this information helps.
