Is It Safe To Fly After Having Laser Eye Operation For Retinal Tear?

I have had an emergency laser eye operation for a retinal tear (operation on 3rd October, 2011). I have also been having chemotherapy since mid-June. I flew Brussels-Dublin 3rd September and returned 12th September. On arrival in Dublin I suffered a heavy nose-bleed (this never happened before as a result of flying). I was wondering if this was as a result of the chemotherapy?
I am thinking of flying again on 31st October (same route) but I am now worried about the safety for my eye - with the air pressure in the cabin, etc. My question is do you think it is safe for me to fly?

Side effect of chemotherapy should be considered and you have to consult your treating doctor. Take opinion of your treating doctor before flying.
