Is It Safe To Get Pregnant While Having HPV And Dysplasia?
I am wondering if I should have a baby now or later. I have hpv with mild dysplasia. I am worried that if I wait to long that my hpv will get worse and I will not be able to have kids. So my question is..is it a better idea to have a baby now or risk waiting to see if hpv goes away?
HPV vaccine [quadrivalent vaccine] before conceiving is considered good and changes to normal pregnancy. If there are lesions they can also be treated with cryotherapy before. Close follow up with gynecologist will give normal results. Dysplasia also not effecting, once take physical checkup from a gynecologist before conception. It will be helpful in the long run.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
