Is It Safe To Give Asthalin To An Infant For Cough, Cold And Earache?

Hi doctor My 7 months old baby boy(8.3kg) having cough and cold since 4 days, iam using Coscoril, Alertus syrup, and Saline nasal solution, but yesterday night he was developed ear pain and my paediatrician suggest Asthalin syrup 4ml TDS, whether it is safe to use along with those syrups, please suggest me. Thanks.

Hello,

As the child is already on anti-cough medication like Coscoril and Alertus no need to add Asthalin.
If the symptoms persist, you can consult with your pediatrician and plan to start antibiotics.
