What Causes Earache Along With Cold And Cough?
Yes, I went to the doctor. I was told I didn t have the flu or strep throat. But, had an earache, which I do have pain in my ears and was told they look a little cloudy and red. But, I also have a cough, stuffy nose, body aches chills and chest congestion. I was prescribed an antibiotic and a little pill for coughing, I seem to be getting a little better but would an earache give you all these symptoms?

It seems like you are heaving a flu according to the symptoms you describe. The ear ache sometime follows the viral infection even if it is bacterial infection it will be resolved by the antibiotic you are taking. There is no need for other medications.
