Is It Safe To Give Ondem To A Toddler For Prolonged Vomiting?

My son(20 months old) was suddenly vomiting yesterday for 2-3 times. Initially he vomited all water after waking up in morning and then in evening he vomited all food that he had for lunch. My doctor suggested me to give him Ondem. Is it safe to give him this? And what was the reason for water vomit ?

Hello,

If his doctor has advised you to give that medication than he or she knows well what is he doing. There might be several causes of vomiting. One most usual is the viral infection. Please believe in your doctor and ask him or her if you have questions to be more clear.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
