Is It Safe To Give Pedicloryl To A Newborn For Prolonged Crying?

Hello doctor. My baby is 14days old.She was continuously crying for last 3 hrs. After feeding we have given her Vitazyme and also applied Coliza.Still she was crying quiet loudly. So we just now gave Pedicloryl.I have seen that this is a sedative medicine.I have given 2ml of it as per doctor s suggestion only.I want to know if this will have any side effect or is it safe to give this medicine to an infant like her?I was not willing to give it but really didn t have any option left. I am bit tensed now. Please advice. Thanks in advancw.
