Hi dear!

Thanks for consulting the Physicians at HealthCare Magic. I have worked through your case thoroughly, and I can easily realize your health worries. Being your physician, I reassure you not to worry as things will settle down very soon.
There are a lot of risks and side effects that overweighs for the use of oral corticosteroids(prednisolone named wysolone 20mg). If I was the physician I never prescribe such treatment. There are a lot more treatment available. Topical steroid and topical vit D creams may well repigment (help return the skin color). Phototherapy with UVA & UVB light is effective. Laser treatment, surgery and many more options are available. But it all depends how much area of skin is involved. If more white patches than the original skin color, we think to clear off those original areas too to depigment all the skin equally to look much better that multi shaded skin.

May your son gets very well soon and have a wonderful time ahead. Please don't forget to give your valuable feedback to help us assist you in a better way. Click at 'I Find This Answer Helpful' & give a five Stars too. Write a review about your experience with me.
