Is It Safe To Give Rynex For Cough, Funny Nose To Infant?

Hi my 16 month old has slight fever cough funny nose her pediatrician prescribed rynex dm liquid I m wondering is it safe to use or should I try something else she s already drowsy and cranky. So what s a better solution, I really don t want to give her any strong medications?

genrally mild viral illness needs only warm fluids , rest , soups,warm lime water to keep the baby well hydrated. only if there is fever not able to sleep do you need to give symptomatic medicines. usually fever settles down in one to two days.
