Is It Safe To Have Cetirizine For Hives Everyday?
I eat everyday from past 8 months cetrizine tablet i.e L-Cet 5mg to protect from hives and rashes.Suppose if i dont eat one day i can see the hives abd raches on my hands and then more than 3 days it comes to my lips .I consulted dermatologist they asked me to eat cetrizibe tablet everyday .Please suggest is it hatmfull

No this is not harmful but this is not the condition that one need to have the medicine every day, instead the disease or condition need to be cured and for that better to control the emotional stress because this is the only near cause for chronic "hives" (urticarial Rash) if I would be your doctor then I would treat this condition with Tab Hydroxyzine 20 mg once in day at bed time, hope this information helps, take care, have a nice day.
