Is It Safe To Have Abortion Pills While Breast Feeding An Infant?

Hi i have a child of 11 months and she is on fully on breast feed and i had taken abortion mtp pills is can be affected to my child? I m so worrying about it and she is passing urine of thick n pale yellowinsh. Is that because of my pills which i have been taken for abortion.

Dear thanks for the question.

Firstly don't worry, even if MTP pill affect breast milk production, it is temporary. It is also less than the impact on breast milk due to pregnancy. Continuation of pregnancy would have permanently stopped the milk production.

MTP pill doesn't affect baby. So don't worry.

However I would like to suggest you few things
Only breast milk is not enough for your baby at present. You start giving him additional feed.
You can start with semi solid and gradually shift to solids.
