Is It Safe To Have Hip Replacement Surgery Having Blood Glucose Level Of 122?
My blood glucose was 122 on my latest test prior to hip placement surgery.I'm currently on pain medication,crestor and blood pressure medication.I am 70,six foot tall and weight 265.Ecercise is limited to light weights and no cardio because hip.Have racently had steroid shots for bad baclk via Pain Management Clinic.

In my clinic most on my patients are very happy with there lives after hip and knee replacements. regarding your sugar level nothing to fell bad,As its only slightly increased Due to steroid use and due to pain this sugar levels will increase. i suggest you to undergo a test called Hba1c before going to surgery. Hba1c is a average blood sugar which will give cumulative blood sugar for three months. take a advise of your treating doctor for this test. Hope I was able to help you.
