I have gone through your query carefully and understood your concerns.
i am very sorry for your condition.
The good news is your quality of life will improve a lot after hip replacement.
In my clinic most on my patients are very happy with there lives after hip and knee replacements.
regarding your sugar level nothing to fell bad,As its only slightly increased
Due to steroid use and due to pain this sugar levels will increase.
i suggest you to undergo a test called Hba1c before going to surgery.
Hba1c is a average blood sugar which will give cumulative blood sugar for three months.
take a advise of your treating doctor for this test.
Hope I was able to help you.
If you have any further question fell free to write me back.I will be happy to help.
Take care.
Best Regards.
