Need Advise On Minimally Invasive Hip Replacement And Its Side Effects?

I am a 61 year old female in need of bilateral hip replacement surgery. I would really like to have a minimally invasive hip replacement, but have read lots of different opinions on this topic. My main concern is muscle damage and pain after the surgery. Is the surgery truly as good as it sounds?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

I have studied your case.

Anterior hip replacement surgery gives good results.
No much advantage of minimally invasive hip replacement.
Rather than choose good quality of implant material which will last longer.

Physiotherapist will help you better to learn more exercises in proper protocol.

Diet rich in calcium and protein will help for recovery.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.
