Is It Safe To Have Non Penetrative Sex, Oral Sex, Bit Of Rubbing For A 3 Weeks Post Operation From LAVH?

Hi. I am 3 weeks post op from LAVH...where my uterus, cervix and fallopean tubes were removed. I have a seven week post op appointment booked and have been told I have to wait until then to have sex. I wondered whether it was safe to have non penetrative sex, oral sex, bit of rubbing for example :) and orgasms before that date? My orgasms tend to be strong and I worried if it would damage healing inside? Or whether the rush of blood to the region would be counter productive to the healing process.

Hi . It is always better to have a ''rest'' as much as possible. If it is 3 weeks post-op, there will be no harm as such for non-penetrative sex. rush of blood to the region will in fact assist in healing. Better not to have oral sex.
