Is It Safe To Increase The Dosage Of Adderall?
Hello. I was just diagnosed 3 days ago with ADD and was prescribed sixty 10 mg Adderall IR pills. I was told to try one 10 mg the first day at 8 a.m., in which I felt nothing. I told my doctor, and she said it was okay to try two 10 mg pills (20 mg) today. With this I felt a slight bit of concentration and relaxation, but quite miniscule, and it wore of by about 12:20. So my question is: Would it be safe to try 30 mg s tomorrow? How much should I take at noon? Idk why this is b/c online most people say 10 mg is enough. I am 15, 5 8 , 150 lbs. My family has the gene of high tolerances on drugs .

The maximum dose which can be taken per day is 40 mg however the average dose is 10 mg per day. I would advise you to continue 10 mg per day for few weeks before increasing it further as per the advise of the treating doctor.
