Is It Safe To Mix Diclofenac And Methocarbamol For Relieving Periodic Episodes Of Back And Pelvic Girdle Inflammation?
I have periodic episodes of lower back and pelvic girdle inflammation due to previous job related traumas. I have used both voltaren/methocarbamol as well as diclofenac. Is it safe to mix dosages of 50mg diclofenac with 400mg methocarbamol for short period to relieve inflammation and pain?
Another differential for pelvic pain can be osteomalacia I will advise to do x ray pelvis AP view and blood investigation for vit D level and serum calcium level.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and interferential therapy will give quick relief. Core stabilizing spine exercises will help. For osteomalacia you need calcium and vitamin D supplement with bed rest.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
Take care
