Is It Safe To Open The Capsule And Just Swallow The Ingredients Inside?
Hi there, I was recently prescribed tetralysal or lymecycline from the doctor for my acne but the capsules are far to big for me to swallow so was wondering if it is safe to open the capsule and just swallow whats inside, or put the powder in juice and take it that way ?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of acne and you are not able to take tetralysal capsules due to big size. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to use topical medication rather than taking oral one. Wash your face with face wash containing benzoyl peroxide then apply cream containing azelaic acid which is safe and very effective . If condition doesn't get better in a month then consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment . Doctor may prescribe retinoid ointment and antibiotic like minocyclin. You can go for derma roller, microabrasion and laser therapy. Exfoliate your skin with non comedogenic exfoliant once a week to remove dead skin. Apply vitamin E before going to bed to fine texture of skin. Avoid use of make up cosmetics.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
