I m confused about male pubic grooming (manscaping. i read than on the one hand, it is dangerous and hair is needed to protect from infections and diseases, also that when pubic hair is removed, it leaves a small open wound which can lead to infections. On the other hand, i heard that without grooming, the pubic area can be at risk of pubic lice which can be passed on and is equally dangerous, being an STD. This has meant i m very confused as of thesecontradicting views which are both supported by scientists so was wondering is male pubic hair removal neccesary or a risk?
Thank you for query. As aptly said both have advantages and disadvantages what us important is maintaining hygiene in either of cases.trimming too short can lead to folliculitis.leaving long can make room for lice ,ssweating, other infections etc.optimum trimming or aseptic atraumatic shaving may be preferred.
