Is It Safe To Rinse Eye Using Potassium Ascorbate?
I squirted some washing up liquid in mu eye. The hospital doctor has given me pottasium ascorbate eye drops which sting badly when you put them in. Seems to be making my eye water more with crustyness. Is this normal

It seems from the history that some washing liquid has splashed into your eyes. The first treatment is to thoroughly wash the eyes to remove any retained liquid.
Potassium ascorbate is vitamin C solution and it will help to prevent damage in chemical injuries.
Potassium ascorbate can be safely used, along with this antibiotic eye drops like chloramphenicol as prescribed by your doctor and artificial tears are also required.
Hence treatment is in right direction, do continue the treatment as advised by your docotor.
