General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the Coveram contains calcium channel blocker amlodipine with arginine as active ingredients to control the blood pressure in various clinical set up by expert physicians. It is the intensive and vigorous exercises which has led to weight loss

The withdrawal of tablet is matter of clinician decision and many of the times, sudden stoppage of the medicine may pause issue with rebound hypertension. Hence it is strongly recommended to consult your doc for tapering programme for the particular anti-hypertensive medicine.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
