Is It Safe To Take 5 Tablets Of Folic 1 Mg In Place Of One Tablet Of Folic 5mg?
Hello Doctor, my doctor back in india suggested me to take folic 5 mg daily upto six months of pregnancy, i am not pregnant yet.In Canada I am not getting folic 5 mg without any prescription of Canadian doctor. but folic 1 mg is available without prescription. Can I take 5 tablets of folic 1 mg in place of one tablet of folic 5mg?

Yeas you make take 5 tablets of 1 m.g folic acid instead of 1 tablet of 5 m.g. It may just be a bit inconvenient for you to take 5 pills a day but based on their effects there is no change.
