Is It Safe To Take Amoxi-clav And Ibuprofen To Treat Tooth Pain?
Have shifting pain upper back molar teeth after it stops pain shifts to lower back molar teeth lasting 45 min at a time. Never pain upper and lower at the same time. Very painful when I laid down to sleep first night did not sleep. Did sleep finally last night. Denist x-rays no cracks no cavities. Given amox-clav 875 mg and 800 mg ibuprofen still in pain, yet almost bearable. 2 days on meds

The given medications will help if there is an infection, but if the cause is different then these medications will not help. There may be some kind of impingement as well, and will have to be ruled out. But otherwise, it is safe to take these medications together.
