Hi, As per your complain Vitiligo is a skin condition in which there is a loss of pigmentation in patches in different areas of the body thereby forming white patches on the skin. It occurs due to damage to the melanocytes in certain areas of the body which are pigment-producing cells producing Melanin and provides colour to the skin. As any oral medications should not be taken without consulting your Physician especially if you have a previous or ongoing medical condition, therefore you should take these medicines only after consulting your Physician. Consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical evaluation and also advise investigations like biopsy from the depigmented areas. You can be advised to apply Melanocyl ointment. You can also be advised spot Oxsoralen therapy. PUVA photochemotherapy can also be beneficial.
