Is It Safe To Take Arthrotec Over Advil For Pain Relief ?

I just had back surgery 2 weeks ago and i am taking 2 percocet 2 - 3 times a day plus 1 gabapentin 3 times a day and a couple of advil once a day - I read where there could be inflammation and I was wondering if I could take and arthrotec to help with the pain instead of the advil and I would also like to cut back on the percocet? I had a discecotomy and laminectomy Or should I just call the pharmacy and speak with someone there?Thanks -

Well come to HCM
As long as pain is concern and medicines that you are on are all directly or indirectly given for some functional conditions and if you go on taking such medicine for long time then you need to increase the dose of these medicines and then there would be no limit for this, so better to stop this medicines and try to bear the pain as hard as you could, the time would come when you would have natural analgesic effects and that will be long lasting, take care, have a nice day.
